The “Evolution” exhibition showcases new works created by Russian media artists as part of the Digital Art Gallery “Tsifergauz” competition. The projects, dedicated to the theme “Living Matter”, are united in an exhibition itinerary that offers visitors a journey from the past to the future.
“Evolution” explores life on Earth, emphasizing the transformative interaction between nature, humans and technological innovation. The unifying idea of all the works is the principle that neither nature, technology nor humanity exist in isolation. They are part of an ongoing dialog that shapes the evolution of each.
The route through the exhibition consists of 7 installations exploring the interconnection of man, nature and technology. The journey begins with the image of the origin of life on Earth and ends with the symbiosis between man and nature, possible in the future due to the development of technology. At the center of the exhibition is the digital Sun, which provides a glimpse of processes hidden from the human eye. Projects in the side galleries explore the planet as an ecosystem made up of living things. Plants, fish and rocks become the main characters of the art projects, reminding of the need to maintain a delicate balance between man and nature.
The exhibition reminds us that man does not exist in isolation in the world and invites us to think about his place in the history of evolution, which covers billions of years and countless forms of life.
